Job description

Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist IN-CAL Calibration Laboratory | Hudson, NH | Full-Time

IN-CAL is a small, accredited calibration laboratory. We handle precision instruments for manufacturers, defense contractors, and research facilities. This role keeps our equipment intake and return process running โ€” which means everything in our operation depends on it being done right.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position. You'll receive, inspect, log, and return customer equipment every day. If you're organized, take care with what you handle, and follow through without being managed, you'll do well here.

What You'll Do

  • Receive incoming shipments: inspect condition, verify contents, and document any damage before routing to the appropriate team
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing lists, labels, and carrier coordination (UPS, USPS, freight)
  • Log shipment data accurately โ€” weights, charges, contents, tracking
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and notify the team when restocking is needed
  • Drive a company vehicle for local customer pick-ups and deliveries as needed
  • Coordinate with customer service and accounting on time-sensitive shipments
  • Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and audit-ready

What We're Looking For

  • Prior shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred
  • Comfortable with UPS, USPS, and similar shipping platforms
  • Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented โ€” this work is traceable
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks throughout the day
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM | Full-time, in-office Location: Hudson, NH

This is an in-office, hands-on position at our calibration facility. The environment is professional, organized, and process-driven. You'll work directly alongside our customer service and technical teams, and your role directly affects how quickly customer equipment moves through our operation.
