Air Freight Coordinator (NFO / Next Flight Out)


We’re hiring an Air Freight / NFO Coordinator to support our time-critical domestic air freight operations. This in-office role is perfect for someone who understands NFO, airline cutoffs, air bill creation, weight/dims, and time-critical service requirements, or someone with strong expedited logistics experience ready to transition into air operations.


You will manage air freight routing, secure flights, quote NFO jobs, work with airlines and partners, and ensure shipments move with precision and urgency.

Compensation:

$21 - $26 hourly + commission


Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate NFO (Next Flight Out) shipments and time-critical air freight
  • Route shipments and book flights based on cutoff times and service level
  • Calculate weight/dims and ensure compliance with airline requirements
  • Prepare MAWB/HAWB and documentation
  • Communicate with drivers, customers, and airline partners
  • Track shipments from pickup to recovery to final delivery
  • Source capacity using ground and air partners when needed
  • Support quoting, documentation, and proactive customer updates
  • Maintain accurate operational records

Qualifications:
  • Experience with air freight, NFO, or airline operations strongly preferred
  • OR prior experience in expedited ground, willing to learn air operations
  • Strong communication anda high urgency mindset
  • Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive shipments
  • Comfort with web tools, Office, Gmail, and TMS platforms
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Team-first attitude with reliability and professionalism
