How much do weekend cargo agent jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 20, 2026, the average hourly pay for weekend cargo agent in the United States is $18.52, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $16.35 and $20.67 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

How much do cargo agents make in the US?

Cargo agents in the US typically earn an average hourly wage of around $15 to $20, which equates to approximately $31,000 to $41,000 annually for full-time work. Salaries can vary based on experience, location, and employer, with some earning additional benefits or overtime pay.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Weekend Cargo Agent roles typically do not pay $4,000 per week without specialized experience or overtime, as they usually offer hourly wages that amount to lower weekly earnings. High-paying jobs that reach $4,000 weekly without a degree often include roles such as commercial truck drivers with proper licensing, sales managers, or skilled trades like electricians, which may require certifications but not necessarily a college degree. These positions often involve physical work, certifications, or licensing requirements, and earnings depend on hours worked and experience.

Is a cargo agent's job stressful?

A cargo agent's job can be stressful due to tight schedules, high workload during peak times, and the need for accuracy in handling shipments. The role often requires physical activity, attention to detail, and working in a fast-paced environment, which can contribute to stress levels.

Can I work on a cargo ship with no experience?

Weekend Cargo Agents typically require some prior experience or training related to cargo handling, logistics, or customer service. While entry-level positions may be available, working on a cargo ship usually requires specific certifications such as STCW and familiarity with safety protocols, making prior experience beneficial. Without relevant experience or training, it may be difficult to qualify for a cargo ship role directly as a cargo agent.
