Position Summary:
Oversees daily operations of the Cancer Registry. Responsible for regulatory compliance with the rules and regulations of the Commission on Cancer (CoC) Program. Reports directly to the Executive Director of Oncology Services.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: BSN or equivalent in Health Information Management or health related discipline required, Masters in health related field preferred.
Experience: Three+ years of Cancer Registry experience required.
Licensure: Current CTR (Certified Tumor Registrar) required. Member of BiState Tumor Registrars' Association (BiSTRA), Missouri Cancer Registrars' Association (MoSTRA), and National Cancer Registrars' Association (NCRA).
