Job description

Business Development Representative
Location: Miami / Fort Lauderdale, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time
The Opportunity
At Pool Centurion, business development isn't about making cold calls all day-it's about building relationships that help homeowners protect one of their biggest investments.
We're looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Business Development Representative who enjoys meeting new people, creating opportunities, and growing a territory. You'll partner with homeowners, property managers, HOAs, real estate professionals, builders, and local businesses to introduce Pool Centurion's residential pool service and repair solutions throughout the South Florida market.
This is a highly visible, field-based sales role for someone who thrives on networking, enjoys being out in the community, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences from the first conversation through closing the sale.
If you're motivated by building relationships, solving customer problems, and exceeding goals, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Grow New Business
  • Develop new residential pool service and repair opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
  • Prospect through networking, referrals, community events, cold outreach, neighborhood canvassing, email campaigns, and relationship building.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Pool Centurion's customer base while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Build Lasting Relationships
  • Establish trusted relationships with homeowners, property managers, HOAs, real estate professionals, builders, and other referral partners.
  • Represent Pool Centurion professionally throughout the community.
  • Become a trusted resource for customers seeking pool maintenance and repair solutions.

Drive the Sales Process
  • Meet with prospective customers to understand their needs.
  • Conduct on-site consultations and recommend appropriate service or repair solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals.
  • Follow up on opportunities and guide customers through the sales process.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.

Stay Organized & Deliver Results
  • Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity within our CRM.
  • Track pipeline activity and provide regular updates on sales performance.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Continuously look for new ways to grow your territory and strengthen customer relationships.

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of business development, outside sales, account management, or territory sales experience.
  • Proven success generating new business and closing sales.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the Miami/Fort Lauderdale market.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity
  • Build your own book of business in a growing South Florida market.
  • Spend your time in the field building relationships-not sitting behind a desk.
  • Join a growing company where your contributions directly impact business growth.
  • Work alongside an experienced operations and leadership team committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided.
  • Competitive compensation with performance incentives.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid Time Off and holidays.
  • Short-Term Disability coverage.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
