Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 anually

Big Rivers Marketing is a premier Manufacturers Representative Agency in the Midwest representing some of the best manufacturers in the plumbing, mechanical, and industrial markets. We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager for our Kansas City, Omaha, and Des Moines markets.

Reporting to the ownership team, the Business Development Manager is responsible for creating demand for our plumbing manufacturers within a defined territory. Major duties include driving specifications for our manufacturer partners and demand for our wholesale partners.

Tasks

  • Complete product training for engineers and mechanical contractors
  • Develop relationships and influence at the engineer level
  • Develop relationships and influence at the mechanical contractor level
  • Funnel leads back to our Territory Manager team
  • Track specifications
  • Track commercial and industrial projects

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Plumbing product knowledge preferred
  • Ability to present product knowledge to groups required
  • Job site visits required
  • Must reside in Omaha, NE or Kansas City Market
  • Higher Education is a plus
  • Successful candidate will have valid drivers license, and reliable vehicle
  • Experience using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a minimum requirement
