Basic Qualifications:
Must have basic trouble shooting skills, ability to work under pressure, work well with others, self-motivated. Must have forklift experience in a production environment and basic maintenance skills. Strong commitment to safety. Willingness to work swing and graveyard shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Boiler experience. Hog fueled boiler experience is a plus. Loader experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Tending the boiler
  • Monitoring kilns
  • Loading/unloading kilns
  • Loading/unloading kiln charges
  • Record keeping
  • Environmental reporting
  • Clean up at boiler and kilns
  • Cleaning fuel cells
  • Boiler water tests
  • Working during boiler shutdowns
  • Doing minor repairs at the boiler and kilns
