Express Lab was founded in 2000 by Dr John E. Liljenquist, MD., who is also the founder of Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center. Dr. Liljenquist and his fellow physicians are nationally renowned diabetes and endocrinology experts. Express lab continues to be locally owned, and is a full-service, independent laboratory. A Day in the Life of a Medical Courier

As a Medical Courier, you are going to different laboratories, hospitals, doctor's offices and other medical facilities to pick up items such as blood and urine samples for laboratory testing. At each site, you may also deliver supplies for collecting samples. You represent the company Successfully transporting medical items requires knowing how to safely store the items on the way to the destination and documenting their work. This role also requires following health privacy regulations and doing some basic vehicle maintenance. While the job normally doesn't require any specific postsecondary education, it does take someone who has some medical knowledge, can drive safely and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Customer service experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Clean driving record

Work Schedule

This part-time Medical Courier position typically works 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday
