Job description

Ready to trade the status quo for some serious wag factor? Hydrant Dog Wash and Grooming is looking for a high-energy Asst. Salon Manager to lead the pack at our thriving Hyde Park spot in Boise’s North End!

We’re not just a grooming salon; we’re a North End staple known for 5-star spa days and a DIY wash that keeps the community coming back. If you’re a grooming pro who loves dogs as much as you love a perfectly organized schedule, we want to meet you.

The Gig

As an Operations Lead, you’ll balance the "business" side with the "bubbles" side, ensuring every pup and person walks out happy.

  • Lead the Flow: Collaborate with the Manager in regards to the daily schedule, our grooming team, and keeping the self-service area humming.

  • Be the Face: Own the customer experience from check-in to check-out with a smile and a professional touch.

  • Support the Pack: Jump in during peak hours to help with nails, glands, or baths.

  • Keep it Spiffy: Ensure our shop remains the cleanest, safest, and friendliest environment in Boise.

  • Part-time: 20 - 30 hours per week, including a mix of days, evenings and Sundays.

Are You the Alpha?

We’re looking for a seasoned pro who is tired of the "same old" and ready to lead.

  • The Experience: At least 2 years of professional grooming under your belt.

  • The Brains: Sharp organizational skills, experience navigating salon scheduling software and a proven track record managing employees.

  • The Vibe: High-energy, positive, and capable of keeping your cool when the salon gets busy.

  • The Heart: A genuine obsession with dog welfare and top-tier customer service.

Perks of the Pack

  • Location, Location: Work in the heart of historic, vibrant Hyde Park.

  • Growth: Join a growing business where your initiative is rewarded with more responsibility and better pay.

  • The Co-workers: Spend your day with a passionate team and a rotating cast of Boise’s cutest dogs.

Company Description

Welcome to Hydrant Dog Wash and Grooming, located in the historic Hyde Park community in Boise's North End. We pride ourselves on providing a clean, safe, and friendly environment where pet owners can either wash their dogs themselves or rely on our team for professional, 5-star grooming services. Our commitment is to building strong community bonds through consistent, high-quality care.
