Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: "No job is too big. No pup is too small." If that sentence made you smile, then you may have found your people. If you can confidently identify Chase by his bark, don't mind singing the theme song for the hundredth time, and believe every great adventure starts outside instead of in front of a screen, this may be the perfect role for you.
If childhood had an official job description, these twin girls would already be experts. They spend their days riding bikes, digging in the sandbox, creating Play-Doh masterpieces, exploring the library, heading to gymnastics, helping around the house, and asking to play outside whenever they get the chance.
As Mom prepares to return to work after spending the past few years home with the girls, this family is hoping to find someone who becomes much more than an employee. They want a trusted teammate. Someone who will become part of the rhythm of their week-the person cheering from the playground, reading one more book before nap, and celebrating each new milestone right alongside them. Both parents primarily work from home, occasionally traveling, and they're incredibly thoughtful about making that dynamic successful. They'll happily steal a quick hug during the day, but they also deeply respect the nanny's role and want their caregiver to have the space, confidence, and autonomy to build a strong relationship with the girls. Because strong relationships take time to grow, this family hopes to find someone who can commit for at least one year, with the possibility of staying closer to two if it's the right fit for everyone.
Your days will be filled with missions that matter-park adventures, library story times, bike rides, imaginative play, gymnastics, crafts, neighborhood walks, and helping two little girls navigate the everyday challenges and victories of toddlerhood. Around here, every outing is an opportunity to learn something new. Whether it's a trip to the library or an afternoon at the park, this family believes childhood is meant to be experienced-not simply watched.
When the girls are resting, you'll help keep the household running smoothly by tackling the children's laundry, washing dishes, doing a little vacuuming, and letting the family's sweet (and occasionally very opinionated) beagle, in and out. A family vehicle will be provided whenever you're out exploring with the girls.
Around here, the goal isn't to fill every minute-it's to fill childhood well. With muddy shoes, library books, scraped knees, belly laughs, growing independence, and someone who shows up each day ready for whatever adventure the girls dream up next.
THE IDEAL NANNY IS...THE KIND OF PERSON WHO BECOMES PART OF THE FAMILY'S BEST MEMORIES. You're patient enough to coach little disagreements with kindness instead of frustration. You naturally choose playgrounds over screens, books over boredom, and fresh air whenever possible. You know childhood isn't about constant entertainment-it's about helping children discover, imagine, create, and grow.
You're interactive, trustworthy, kind-hearted, and full of common sense. You communicate openly with parents, work confidently alongside them while they're home, and appreciate the unique partnership that creates. You don't need to be Ryder from Paw Patrol...but a little of Chase's dependability, Skye's adventurous spirit, Marshall's big heart, and Rubble's willingness to jump in wherever you're needed certainly wouldn't hurt.
More than impressive experience or the perfect résumé, this family is hoping to find someone whose presence simply feels right-the kind of nanny children run to each morning, parents completely trust, and families never quite know how to say goodbye to.
