Midwest Eye Center has an exciting career opportunity for a Bi-lingual Call Center Representative. We are a progressive, multi-location, fast paced ophthalmology practice. Interested candidates should be comfortable working independently and as a team member. If you are energetic and ready to take your career to the next level, then this is the position for you

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments for patients
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and in a polite and professional manner
  • Obtain and enter accurate demographic and all relevant appointment information into our Practice Management System (date of birth, email address, name, telephone number, name of insurance, name of referring doctor, reason for visit, etc.)
  • Answer questions and offer other relevant and pertinent information, as requested, to provide patient-focused and patient-oriented service and an extremely positive impression of our wonderful practice
  • Act as a liaison for the patients and the practice
  • Use sound judgment when handling calls, particularly with upset patients
  • Meet the average handle time of 3 minute

Qualifications:

  • Spanish speaker (Bi-lingual)
  • EMR
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus
  • Previous experience in customer service or call center roles is preferred but not required
  • Answer incoming multi phonecalls professionally and courteously and make outbound calls when necessary to assist customers with inquiries, issues, or product information
  • Listen actively to patients' concerns, assess their needs, and provide effective solutions or guidance to resolve issues promptly and accurately
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to patients
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in the CRM system, ensuring that records are complete and up to date
  • Follow established call center protocols and procedures to maintain the highest quality standards in patient care
  • Collaborate with colleagues and team members to share best practices and ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment
  • Participate in training sessions and keep up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to continuously improve your performance
