The company was founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to nine retail locations, a production bakery, and a thriving wholesale business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year.

About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Production Baker to join our Mixing department at our Fresh Baguette Germantown production center, 19548 Amaranth Drive Germantown, MD 20874. This full-time, hourly position is perfect for someone ready to dive into the world of professional baking. As a Baker, you will play a key role in preparing delicious bread and baked goods while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fast learner and team player who is punctual, reliable, and eager to grow in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do
  • Work in a team environment to follow recipes and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain tools and personal hygiene to ensure food safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare flour and other baking ingredients, either manually or with the assistance of commercial bakery equipment.
  • Shape dough to bake a variety of bread and other baked goods.
  • Operate commercial bakery equipment, including ovens, loaders, proofers, and dough mixers.
  • Work efficiently and quickly to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety guidelines and hygiene practices during all operations.
