What's the role?

Audit / Assurance Associates support the audit team by assisting with the examination of client financial records to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and firm standards. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates or professionals with up to 1–2 years of public accounting experience who are looking to build a strong foundation in audit and grow their career within a public accounting firm. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with audit engagements, including testing, documentation, and preparation of workpapers.

  • Analyzing client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and escalating findings to senior team members.

  • Learning and applying audit methodologies, standards, and firm procedures.

  • Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers to complete engagements efficiently and accurately.

  • Communicating with clients as directed and providing a professional, positive experience.

  • Building foundational knowledge of clients' businesses and industries.


What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

  • 0–2 years of audit or public accounting experience (internship experience welcomed).

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.

  • CPA eligible or intent to pursue CPA preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
