Responsibilities

The RN Supervisor-House provides administrative decision making 24/7 for coordination of patient flow, patient placement, and other patient services through collaboration with administrative/supervisory staff, physicians, charge nurses and ancillary support staff across all hospital patient care departments. The RN Supervisor-House provides nursing leadership for staff involved in the provision of patient care services 24/7.  As the on-site nursing leadership representative, the RN Supervisor-House provides direction and guidance for hospital staff in interpretation/application of policies and procedures, problem solving, utilization and assignment of nursing resources, response to patient/family complaints/concerns and initiation of emergency preparedness plans for any presenting emergency situations. 

This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification. 


Qualifications

Graduate of a nursing program. 

All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date. 

All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program as stipulated by the degree requirement program in place at time of hire. Basic computer skills. 

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Demonstrates skills in leadership, problem solving, continuous improvement, verbal and written communication, and team building. Baccalaureate degree preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. 3 Years clinical experience preferred. 
License or Certification:

Active Wisconsin RN license or ability to practice professional nursing in the state of Wisconsin. Current BLS Certification.
