Position Summary The Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in supporting Project Managers through every stage of commercial roofing projects. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their construction management career while gaining exposure to estimating, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and client communication. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of commercial roofing projects. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to maintain project schedules. Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation. Track project costs and assist with budget management. Order materials and coordinate deliveries to job sites. Support project scheduling and manpower planning. Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes. Monitor project progress and provide status updates to clients and internal teams. Assist with invoice preparation, billing, and payment applications. Ensure projects comply with company quality standards and safety regulations. Maintain accurate project files and documentation. Coordinate closeout documentation including warranties, punch lists, and final inspections. Perform site visits as needed to monitor progress and assist field personnel.
