We are looking for a PCB Assembly Technician for a temp assignment for at least 3 months. This role would be responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies in accordance with manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to identify electronic components, and adherence to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling practices. The ideal candidate has previous circuit board assembly experience, basic lead-free soldering skills, and a strong willingness to learn. Success in this role requires a motivated, dependable individual who is committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in circuit board assembly, electronics manufacturing, or a similar production environment is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) awareness and safe handling practices for electronic components.
  • Ability to identify common electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, and other components used in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly.
  • Basic lead-free soldering skills or previous soldering experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform detailed assembly work while following work instructions, drawings, and established quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new assembly processes, equipment, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Must be dependable, motivated, trainable, and willing to work as part of a manufacturing team.
  • Previous PCB assembly experience is beneficial; however, candidates with relevant manufacturing or electronics experience and a demonstrated ability to learn may be considered.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in printed circuit board assembly, electronics assembly, soldering, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience identifying common electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, and integrated circuits, is beneficial.
  • Previous experience with lead-free soldering, hand assembly, or electronic component installation preferred.
  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures and safe handling practices is helpful.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant manufacturing experience will be considered.
  • Entry-level candidates who demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, motivation, and the ability to learn may also be considered.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends during this assignment.
