Job Description

Moog in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks an entry-levelย Assembler 1ย to assemble products per work instructions. You will receive training and support to ensure successful assembly and quality outcomes in a compliance-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and confirm work instructions match assigned tasks.
  • Learn and follow new work instructions as required.
  • Collect required materials from bins and set up workstations per instructions.
  • Assemble parts and inspect own work to quality standards.
  • Complete required training on time.
  • Assist manufacturing staff and support other assigned projects.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and calibration per instructions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and understand device/work instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • Soldering skills required; basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on a repeated basis.
  • Close and color vision, and depth perception sufficient for assembly tasks.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using U.S. units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to carry out tasks through detailed written or oral instructions in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Preferred Skills:

  • IPC soldering certification.
