This is an entry-level position designed for someone looking to get their foot in the door and gain experience in a hospital environment. About You:
We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport, and our ideal candidate is someone who feels the same. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment that is always evolving and communicates well with others.
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is already comfortable with basic nursing care, husbandry, handling / restraint and assisting Veterinary Technicians and other staff members in a clinical setting highly preferred.
The position would primarily involve instrument cleaning and decontamination duties to support the Sterile Processing Technician. Experience with EzyVet and Smartflow are an additional plus but not required. We highly value collaboration from all staff members, so please speak up as your input is not only valued but can make a difference.
*This is a temporary position with an immediate start date, anticipated to continue through September.
Compensation:
$19.00-$20.00 an hour depending on experience.
Anticipated Schedule:
This is a full-time position:
4 days week / 10-hour shifts
Minimum 1 weekend shift.
Holidays are required.

  • Prior experience working in a veterinary setting preferred. Tech students are encouraged to apply.
