This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.
The Associate, Production Management (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for assisting with production activities, developing schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Specifics Include:
  • Assist with production activities, including assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, to meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards
  • Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor/capital resources
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions
  • Lead and/or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement
  • Ensure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent
  • Follow established procedures with limited decision-making authority, contributing to efficient business operations through accurate task completion
  • Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
  • Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 3 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Work Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday: 4:15 PM CST - 2:45 AM CST
  • Travel Requirements: 0-5%
  • Location: Onsite
  • Sponsorship & Relocation: Not Available
