Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Engineering Change Analyst. This role will take place out of our facility in El Paso, TX.
The SCM Senior Engineering Change Analyst is responsible for leading and governing supply chain engineering change management processes that impact procurement, planning, inventory, manufacturing, and supplier operations. This role ensures engineering changes are implemented accurately and efficiently while minimizing operational disruptions and maintaining data integrity across business systems. The position provides leadership for engineering change activities, supervises Engineering Change Analysts, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as the primary supply chain point of contact for engineering change implementation.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
  • Lead the end-to-end engineering change process across supply chain functions.
  • Evaluate the impact of engineering changes on materials, inventory, suppliers, and production schedules.
  • Coordinate implementation activities between Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Operations, and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain engineering change processes, standards, and controls.
  • Ensure accurate system updates and data integrity related to engineering changes.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent supply disruptions and excess inventory.
  • Monitor engineering change performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze change-related data and recommend actions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for engineering change issues.
  • Communicate change requirements, priorities, and implementation timelines to stakeholders.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Engineering Change Analysts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, engineering change management, manufacturing, or related operations.
