Description
Brooks Building Solutions is seeking an energetic and motivated Talent Acquisition Coordinator to help build the next generation of talent for our growing organization. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate interested in launching a career in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or Recruiting.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a key role in developing recruiting pipelines through college partnerships, career fairs, internship programs, military transition initiatives, vocational schools, and workforce development organizations. This position will also support full-cycle recruiting for interns, apprentices, administrative, and entry-level roles while helping track recruiting metrics and maintain an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Campus and Early Career Recruiting
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, vocational schools, workforce development organizations, and military transition programs.
  • Support and coordinate Brooks' internship, apprentice, and SkillsBridge programs.
  • Represent Brooks at career fairs, networking events, campus recruiting activities, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Develop talent pipelines for technician, apprentice, intern, entry-level, and administrative positions.
  • Promote Brooks' employment opportunities and employer brand within the community and educational networks.

Full-Cycle Recruiting
  • Manage recruiting activities for internship, apprentice, administrative, and selected entry-level positions.
  • Post jobs, review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate hiring activities.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and support hiring manager interview processes.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist with offer preparation, pre-employment activities, and onboarding coordination.

Recruiting Operations & Coordination
  • Schedule candidate interviews and recruiting-related meetings.
  • Maintain candidate records and recruiting workflows within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure recruiting processes are organized, efficient, and provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Support hiring managers and with administrative and recruiting-related tasks as business needs allow.

Recruiting Analytics & Reporting
  • Collect and maintain recruiting data across all open positions.
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics.
  • Assist in developing recruiting dashboards and KPI reporting to support business decisions.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for recruiting events throughout Florida.

Preferred
  • Internship experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Marketing, Sales, or Business Operations.
  • Experience participating in student organizations, leadership programs, athletics, or campus activities.
  • Interest in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Workforce Development, or Recruiting Analytics.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, or recruiting technologies.
