Job Summary: The Staff Accountant is responsible for the general accounting function maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings, account analysis and supporting the Accounting Manager and CFO in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

Responsibilities: To ensure daily operations, as well as monthly and yearly financial closings

Daily Operations

  • Maintain daily cash flow
  • Record and process AP transactions
  • Review proposals and issue credit memos
  • Handle special requests by executive members

Month-end closing

  • Process and review AP/AR transactions
  • Process and review general ledgers and account balances
  • Run and review the depreciation schedule program by individual asset
  • Perform bank reconciliation for month-end closing
  • Process and review transactions for prepaid expenses or advance payments
  • Process and monitor related-party transactions
  • Compare F/S with SAP reports in detail
  • Prepare sales tax filing by state
  • Prepare monthly report for the company and HQ (BS, IS and Cash Flow, etc.)
  • Collaborative with the team and company on any other tasks


Quarterly/ Yearly-end closing

  • Ensure compliance with state & federal requirements
  • Prepare interim and year-end audit requests by auditors
  • Update bank, corporation, state, and federal information in the event of organizational changes
