Job SummaryPerforms general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules | Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles | Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget | Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports | Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projectsImpact of the RoleGeneral Profile

Essential Functions
  • Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
  • Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
  • Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
Required Qualifications
  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Finance or Accounting degree preferred
  • Additional certifications: CPA preferred
