Job description

We are looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to support our senior living community. This position works 80 hours every two weeks including some Weekends/Holidays.
The posted pay range of this hourly position is $21.45 to $32.90. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors and visitors.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal repair instructions and directions.
  • Vocations/Technical training preferred

Duties:

  • This maintenance position is responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs of systems and equipment and groundskeeping.
  • Repairs and maintains physical equipment including work orders, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment,
  • Groundskeeping; removing snow from sidewalks and walkways, trims around bushes, trees, and sidewalks
  • Assists with moving boxes, furniture, and room turnover
  • Also assist with housekeeping as required.
