Automotive Electronics Technical Support Specialist

Rydeen Mobile is seeking a skilled, motivated, and customer-focused Automotive Electronics Technical Support Specialist to join our team full-time. The primary responsibilities of this position include providing technical support to installation shops, dealerships, and customers, including troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and supporting automotive electronics such as dash cameras, rearview mirror systems, and vehicle safety products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and responsive technical support to installation shops, dealers, and customers
  • Assist installers with product setup, wiring, troubleshooting, and installation-related questions
  • Diagnose technical issues and provide practical solutions for vehicle integration and product operation
  • Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair returned automotive electronics products
  • Verify product functionality and performance through hands-on testing
  • Educate customers on product features, operation, and installation best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing results, product returns, and technical support cases
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to improve customer satisfaction and product quality
  • Support trade shows, dealer training sessions, and sales events when needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • MECP certification is preferred

  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and installation support experience
  • Understanding of Ohm’s Law, proper wiring practices, and vehicle electrical systems
  • Familiarity with hand tools, soldering equipment, multimeters, and automotive installation techniques
  • Ability to perform voltage, continuity, and basic diagnostic testing
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Experience supporting installation shops or dealer networks is a plus
  • MECP certification is preferred
