12-Volt Technician / Mechanic

Stemmle Plumbing Repair, Inc. – Service Shop

Stemmle Plumbing Repair is seeking an experienced 12-Volt Technician / Mechanic to join our Service Shop team. This position supports and maintains a fleet of more than 200 company vehicles and requires a skilled professional who can perform advanced electrical installations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Install and integrate advanced 12-volt systems and aftermarket accessories.
  • Perform complex electrical troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
  • Install and service:
    • Fleet GPS and tracking devices
    • Dash cameras
    • Safety and strobe lighting systems
    • Reverse cameras
    • Bluetooth accessories
    • Power inverters
    • Additional vehicle electrical components and accessories
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment, including ohmmeters, tablets, laptops, and vehicle scan tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automotive systems.
  • Assist with mechanical repairs and maintenance, including brakes and general vehicle service work, as needed.
  • Ensure all installations and repairs meet company quality, safety, and reliability standards.
