Job Title: 12-Volt Technician

APPLICATIONS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE OR RELATIVE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

We are in search of an experienced 12-Volt Technician " Minimum 3-5 yrs experience Req'd" who is skilled in the installation, maintenance, and repair of 12-volt electrical systems in vehicles. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair 12-volt electrical systems, including audio systems, alarms, remote starters, and lighting.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of electrical components to identify issues.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to perform accurate installations.
• Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Offer expert advice and recommendations to customers regarding their 12-volt systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a 12-Volt Technician or similar role in automotive electronics.
• Strong understanding of 12-volt electrical systems, components, and installation techniques.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and installation equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or training in automotive electronics is a plus.

Our Ideal Candidate is/has :

• A highly skilled Technician, whose attention to detail is unsurpassed,
• Custom Fabrication Skills A PLUS
• Must be a self-starter
• Must possess a good standing & valid driver license
• Possess exceptional communication skills
• Be open to and weekend availability.
• One who has 3+ years of remote starts, Viper/DEI, Compustar preferred
• A creative nature
• Car Audio and Accessory Lighting experience is (((a Must!)))
• Accessory installs experience
• Light suspension/mechanical / Bolt on is desired
• Excellent problem-solving skills,
• Posesses and bring to the store site, the proper, appropriate tools ( Hand and Power) to complete the incoming work.
