Job description

Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re partnering with a well-established and growing organization in North Portland to bring on an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative accounting team and make an impact in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Full-cycle accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, coding, matching, and ensuring timely payment
  • Managing vendor communications and resolving invoice, PO, and payment discrepancies
  • Supporting invoice approvals and workflow coordination
  • Maintaining accurate AP records and assisting with general AP operations
  • Partnering closely with internal team members to keep financial operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior accounts payable experience (or related accounting support)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume work with accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a structured, fully onsite environment
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and able to jump in where needed
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills
