Job description

Title: Temporary SAP Data Entry / Clerical Support
Location: Rockford, IL 61103
Job Type: 7 months Contract
Shift: Monday- Monday thru Friday 8AM-4:30PM

Position Summary
  • We are seeking two detail-oriented temporary clerical support team members to assist with transactional processing during a system transition from ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA.
  • This role will support day-to-day order and inventory transactions between systems to ensure continuity of operations across locations.
  • While the work involves a high level of data entry, accuracy and attention to detail are critical, as these transactions directly impact order fulfillment and supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and enter transactions in both ECC6 and SAP S/4HANA systems n
  • Create and manage sales orders, purchase orders, and related system transactions as required
  • Support cross-system transaction flow between facilities operating in different SAP environments
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure transactions are completed correctly and timely
  • Monitor transaction queues and follow up on incomplete or failed transactions
  • Communicate with operations, customer service, and supply chain teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of processed transactions and any issues encountered
  • Escalate system or process issues as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous clerical, administrative, or data entry experience preferred
  • SAP experience (ECC6 and/or S/4HANA) is a plus but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow defined processes and work within structured systems
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle repetitive tasks with consistency
