Entrust Your Soul Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing flexibility and comfort while attending to various client needs. You will engage in consultations and therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, ensuring that you can maintain work-life balance and provide care to a diverse clientele. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and initial consultations to gather detailed client histories and assess psychological needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies and techniques for enhancing mental well-being.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, including both individual and group therapies, utilizing methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including other mental health specialists, medical professionals, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Manage referrals and provide resources for clients, ensuring their access to necessary support during their recovery journey.
• Engage with family members and caregivers, offering guidance on managing challenges related to mental health conditions.
• Document cases meticulously, maintaining accurate records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, using systems like electronic health records (EHR).

This role involves providing care to a diverse population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. You will have the opportunity to work with couples and families, tailoring your therapeutic approach to address unique challenges each client may face. Experience with addiction disorders and co-occurring mental health issues is valuable as you’ll encounter varied cases requiring sensitivity and expertise.

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas is required.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is a must.
• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in outpatient settings.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically familiar with AVATAR.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and their relationship with physical health and recovery, particularly concerning addiction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
• Exceptional empathy and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Experience in providing therapy to clients across various demographics, including age-specific treatments.
• Knowledge of the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Awareness of medication management and the pharmacological impacts on mental health therapy.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
