POSITION SUMMARY

The Janitorial Crew Leader will supervise the work performed by Janitors and ensure cleaning tasks are performed according to contract requirements. Support the organization in its mission to help change lives through the power of work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform all cleaning tasks alongside assigned cleaning crew while monitoring their work.
  2. Assign work schedules.
  3. Plan and communicate areas to be cleaned each shift.
  4. Order supplies and makes sure equipment is in working order.
  5. Train on proper cleaning methods, equipment and chemicals usage, and safety rules and regulations.
  6. Inspect results of work.
  7. Assist manager by providing input for team member performance appraisals.
  8. Attend monthly unit meetings.
  9. Report problems to Project Manager
  10. Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions and/or concerns in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a security clearance.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  3. Associateโ€™s degree
  4. 1 year of experience in janitorial work and experience as a team lead/supervisor.
  5. 2+ years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education, experience and/or military training.
  6. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
  7. For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driverโ€™s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.
