Smith is seeking a GSOC Operator to support our 24x7x365 Global Security Operations Center. This role is responsible for frontline monitoring and response across physical security, incident intake, travel risk, and intelligence reporting to ensure the safety of our people, facilities, and operations worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented security professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE SWING SHIFT.

Shift will be either Sun - Wed or Wed - Sat 1pm - 11 pm.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor global physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) across offices and distribution hubs
  • Receive, triage, and escalate security incidents in accordance with established SOPs
  • Support cyber incident intake and escalation in coordination with IT/security teams
  • Monitor global events and provide travel risk awareness for employees
  • Produce daily situation reports (SITREPs) and real-time incident updates
  • Dispatch and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and emergency services as needed
  • Support badging and access control operations, including access requests and audits
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident documentation, and case management records
  • Assist with crisis response activation and communications during incidents

What You Bring

  • 2-5 years of experience in a GSOC, SOC, security operations, or similar environment
  • Experience working in a 24/7 operational setting (shift work required)
  • Strong situational awareness and ability to assess and prioritize incidents quickly
  • Familiarity with physical security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow procedures while adapting in dynamic situations
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Verkada VMS, Everbridge, or similar platforms
  • Exposure to incident management systems and ticketing tools
  • Background in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or emergency services
  • Experience monitoring global events or travel risk platforms
