We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security to maintain a organized, and safe environment at our automotive dealership. This role is vital in ensuring a positive experience for our customers and staff by keeping our facilities in top-notch condition.

Hourly Pay:

$16 per hour

Job Description

Dave Smith Motors is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Security professional to join our team in Kellogg, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our facility, assets, and personnel by implementing comprehensive security measures and maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers alike.

  • Monitor surveillance systems and access control equipment to detect and respond to security threats in real-time
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify potential vulnerabilities and security risks
  • Manage visitor access, verify credentials, and conduct bag checks and vehicle inspections as required by company security protocols
  • Document and report all security incidents, suspicious activities, and breaches in accordance with company procedures, maintaining detailed logs of daily activities
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
  • Enforce security policies and procedures consistently across all areas of the facility and communicate security concerns to staff and management
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in security operations, facility protection, or loss prevention
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, access control technology, and security equipment
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to document incidents accurately and maintain organized records
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical capability to perform patrols and respond to emergencies
  • Reliability and commitment to maintaining consistent security standards
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures and de-escalation techniques
  • Preferred: Security certifications (CPP or PSP) and familiarity with modern security technology systems
