Job Summary

The Land Planning & Entitlement Manager is responsible for managing land projects throughout the entitlement process to achieve scheduled milestones for the obtaining of zoning and development permits, and obtaining subdivision improvement, entry, landscaping, and amenity plans.

This position requires onsite attendance 5 days per week at our Division Office and assigned job sites in the greater Dublin, Ohio area.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day activities of project due diligence, feasibility budgets and schedules, planning and entitlement activities. Support programs established by the Area management team.

  • Assign and manage due diligence projects for the designated business unit or geographic area. Assess project risks and establishes consulting and engineering development activities.

  • Coordinate land planning with various municipalities, agencies and utility authorities.

  • Pursue zoning and land use changes thru public meetings and governmental hearings.

  • Manage all pre-acquisition land development budgets, schedules, and cash flow activities.

  • Review Purchase Agreements for necessary entitlement deal points and monitor compliance with terms. Aid in coordination of joint development agreements or joint venture.

  • Review design documents, site plans, improvement plans and plats for project coordination and accuracy. Determine availability requirements for all utilities, concurrencies, and impact fees.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
