This is a Managing Director role with one of Slalom's global teams - we are open to hiring in many locations and travel will be required as needed by our clients.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Industry Managing Director to drive Slalom's growth in Media & Communications, preferably with a background in Media & Entertainment.
What You'll Do
  • Set the vision for and lead the direction of the global media, communications, and entertainment industry at Slalom;establishindustry targets and develop overall industry strategy.
  • Partner with account leaders to develop growth plans and drive accountability to achieve targets.
  • Advise clients on business and technology transformations working with senior business and functional leaders to understand key business drivers, define strategic needs, and develop future business capabilitiesleveragingindustry best practices.
  • Develop and grow our media and entertainment industry community, cultivate our experts, and expand industry offerings, curating compelling success stories.
  • Ensure thesynergybetween business processes, technology, data, and people to drive performance across enterprises in media and entertainment.
  • Drive connections and strategy with our Global Partners to best serve our media, communications, and entertainment industry clients collaboratively.

  • 10+ years' experience working in the consulting services industry supporting media, communications, and entertainment customers.
  • Regularly attend industry conferences and share learnings with other Industry Practitioners and clients.
  • Experience presenting/speaking at industry conferences, hosting industry-focused expert panels, and/or being published in industry publications.
  • Set and achieve ambitious 5-year financial targets across diverse markets, focusing onidentifyingindustry trends and growth areas to craft insightful thought leadership and innovative solutions.

  • Pinpoint strategic accounts within the industry and collaborate across markets to formulate effective account strategies, actively seeking out target/greenfield accounts and leading negotiations for new Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
  • Play a crucial role in supporting procurement and pricing strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of the media and entertainment industry.
  • Cultivate marketing and alliance partnerships to enhance our market presence in media and entertainment.
  • Commit to industry learning and development, staying abreast of emerging trends, and fostering alliances to contribute to the continuous growth and success of our organization.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range is $240,000 to $385,000 In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
