Job Description Summary
As the Entertainment Marketing Manager, the candidate will be the liaison between the Entertainment and Marketing Departments. This position will oversee all aspects of asset acquisition, creation, development, implementation and management of all entertainment marketing & communication plans. The candidate must effectively manage, track and report on all aspects of the marketing plan and provide additional support to the overall management team. They will work within the entertainment department to ensure the timely acquisition of all assets/deliverables, artist announcements, and will be flexible and result driven. The ability to effectively manage multiple projects, as well as ability to multitask and pivot easily as business demands will be essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
  • Create and maintain entertainment media plans on and off property to ensure continued revenue objectives are met.
  • Effectively manage the development, implementation and execution of public relations & advertising plans for entertainment.
  • Build and deploy daily ticket reports which track and monitor ticket sales.
  • Effectively manage and communicate sales forecasts, expectations & ensure successful results throughout the artist's on-sale period.
  • Coordinate, schedule and initiate work orders for all entertainment events including lounge entertainment and headline entertainment.
  • Work with Entertainment Managers to build events in Ticketmaster and monitor sales for all ticketed entertainment events.
  • Attend all entertainment meetings as Marketing representative and communicate back pertinent information.
  • Attend ticketed shows as requested by Entertainment Manager or Director of Entertainment.
  • Coordinate with necessary external vendors and internal departments to ensure efficiency of all events and partnership related to entertainment.
  • Upload all marketing materials into database and keep track of additional requests from artist's agency or management team as well as the Company's marketing and entertainment departments.
  • Purchase and manage all artist deliverables from vendors such as BYP or TourDesign.
  • Seek out contacts & maintain open line of communication with talent buyers, agents and artist management to obtain assets & necessary approvals to ensure marketing deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate promotional opportunities related to entertainment at all 3 properties.
  • Coordinate, schedule and initiate TV and radio requests for all Entertainment events.
  • Manages master list of entertainment for marketing including fact sheets
  • Strategically create plans and partner with marketing teams to optimize and leverage results
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the Agua Caliente Casinos System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required, B.A. in Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years marketing experience and/or entertainment management experience.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to work with all departments and have excellent customer relation skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiar with Mac OS and current Windows platforms.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Artist promoter experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster, Pollstar, Rostr is a plus.
