Founded in 2015 by John & Nick Portillo, Portillo Sales & Marketing’s team of Intrapreneurial Brokers leverage deep industry experience and a nation-wide broker network to drive sales for their foodservice manufacturer clients.

Because their entire team understands the importance of Family, and what it means to exemplify Integrity, Passion, and being Reliable to one another, Portillo’s manufacturer clients trust them to grow their business.

Looking for your next challenge? You can help us create one of the strongest sales teams in the Northern California area.

We are looking for a dynamic and driven General Manager to lead our Northern California Team. In this role, you will own the Northern California market: leading a team of sales professionals while personally driving and overseeing key customer relationships. Day-to-day, that means coaching and developing your team, holding them accountable to activity and revenue goals, and rolling up your sleeves to open doors and close business alongside them. At the senior level, you will be expected to think like a business owner, identifying white space in the market, building a pipeline, and positioning our clients' products as the right solution for each operator's unique needs.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of foodservice sales experience.
  • Family-first minded, passionate about foodservice, of high integrity, and reliable to our clients and customers.
  • Strong skills in all Microsoft applications and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage many different competing priorities.
  • A reliable motor vehicle, driver’s license, and flexible schedule.
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications Role Description
  • Sales Execution: Cultivate and drive sales at strategic accounts across Northern California, identifying new prospects while deepening relationships with existing customers to introduce our manufacturer clients' products.

  • Reporting: Ensure all activity and pipeline information is submitted accurately and on time into our CRM platform.
  • Self-Management: Demonstrate consistent self-management by planning, scheduling, executing, and reporting effectively. Make sound decisions to meet the full scope of your role responsibilities.
  • Client Growth: Drive consistent achievement of assigned growth plans and communicate results clearly. Our expectation is 100% plan achievement.
Compensation Structure
  • Salary + 6% Bonus Opportunity
  • Health Insurance
