What is an enterprise sales executive?

An Enterprise Sales Executive is a sales professional responsible for selling complex products or services to large organizations, often referred to as enterprise clients. Their role involves identifying potential business opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiating large-scale contracts. They typically manage long sales cycles and collaborate with multiple departments to tailor solutions that fit the client's specific needs. Success in this role requires excellent communication, strategic planning, and strong problem-solving skills.

How does an enterprise sales executive typically collaborate with technical teams to deliver client solutions?

Enterprise Sales Executives often work closely with technical teams such as solutions engineers, product managers, and customer success specialists throughout the sales cycle. They coordinate with these teams to understand client requirements, tailor product demonstrations, and address complex technical questions during negotiations. Effective collaboration ensures that client needs are met with feasible solutions, and it often involves regular meetings, joint presentations, and sharing feedback from clients to improve offerings. This teamwork is critical for closing large, multi-stakeholder deals and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Job description

Enterprise Sales Executive – Media & Entertainment Technology (Los Angeles)

A well-established, technology solutions provider serving major studios, VFX facilities, and post-production companies across LA is hiring an Enterprise Sales Executive to drive new business. This is a full-cycle hunter role — you'll open relationships with decision-makers across post-production, VFX, and digital media operations, and close infrastructure, managed services, and equipment deals ranging from six to seven figures, backed by an in-house technical team once you're in the room. Base is $200K plus uncapped commission at 25% of deal margin.

If you've got an established network in entertainment tech sales and want to build a book from scratch at a company just starting to invest seriously in its sales function, apply now!

Title: Enterprise Sales Executive

Location: Field-based/remote — must be able to reach Hollywood, Burbank, or West LA for in-person client meetings

Compensation: Up to $200K base + 25% of deal margin, uncapped commission + benefits

Must-Haves:

  • 8+ years of full-cycle enterprise sales experience selling into media & entertainment (studios, VFX facilities, post-production, digital media)
  • Background at a VAR, systems integrator, or multi-line technology solutions provider — not exclusively a single manufacturer
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles from technical teams to C-suite
  • Established, current relationships/network within the M&E industry
  • Comfortable building pipeline and running full sales cycles independently, with minimal onboarding or inbound support

Strong Pluses:

  • Active relationships at major studios not already covered by the client (e.g., Fox, Disney)
  • Experience selling specifically into VFX/post-production workflow environments
  • Experience selling infrastructure hardware via the Dell ecosystem or similar
  • Experience selling managed services or IT staffing/staff augmentation
  • Experience selling equipment rental or HaaS models

US Citizens and Permanent Residents are welcome to apply. Unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
