Job description

Advanced Practice Provider - ENT Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Tampa Bay, FL | Full-Time & Part-Time Available | Competitive Compensation
Who We Are
Florida ENT & Allergy has proudly served Tampa Bay patients for over 59 years - and we are still growing. As a division of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, one of the region's most established multi-specialty practices, we offer something rare in healthcare: the resources of a large organization with the culture of a tight-knit clinical team.
Our ENT Urgent Care program is expanding, and we are looking for a skilled, motivated APP who wants more than a job - someone who wants to build a career in a specialty setting where their expertise is valued, their growth is supported, and their patients genuinely appreciate the care they receive.
The Opportunity
What Makes This Role Different
This is not a generic urgent care position. You will work in a true ENT-focused urgent care environment alongside board-certified otolaryngologists, with access to specialty-level diagnostic tools and a patient population that benefits from your clinical depth - not just your speed.
You will be responsible for:
  • Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute ENT and allergy conditions across all age groups
  • Minor in-office procedures including suturing, I&D, splinting, foreign body removal, and wound care
  • Independent management of acute illness and injury with attending physician support available
  • Building strong patient relationships in a setting that values continuity and quality outcomes

What We Offer
โ€ข Competitive base salary (negotiable based on experience)
โ€ข Flexible scheduling: weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
โ€ข Long-term career trajectory with growth opportunities
โ€ข Collaborative physician and support team environment
โ€ข Specialty ENT clinical training and mentorship
โ€ข Supportive, low-turnover staff culture
โ€ข Modern facilities across the Tampa Bay area
โ€ข Equal-opportunity, tobacco-free workplace
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Active FL license as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or APRN - board certified
  • Strong procedural skills: suturing, wound care, I&D, splinting
  • Ability to evaluate and manage acute conditions across all age groups
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient rapport
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules including evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to long-term employment and professional growth

Preferred Experience
  • Urgent care, emergency medicine, or ENT/head & neck clinical background
  • Experience with ENT-specific procedures or diagnostic equipment

Physical Requirements
This role requires sufficient coordination, manual dexterity, and physical ability to operate medical and office equipment, with occasional sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Background Screening
All candidates selected for hire undergo comprehensive criminal, credit, drug (including nicotine/tobacco), and drivers license background checks as a condition of employment.
