Job description

Assignment Overview

SMH Innovations is seeking a BC/BE Otolaryngologist for locum facial trauma and ENT call coverage. This is a call-only position with no outpatient or clinic work. The physician will cover ED consults, perform procedures, round on post-ops and inpatients, and manage consults as needed. Call is taken from a local hotel — not in-house.


Required Qualifications

  • BC or BE in Otolaryngology (ENT only — no other specialties considered)
  • Active South Carolina medical license
  • Valid CSR
  • DEA eligible for permanent registration in South Carolina
  • Must be comfortable with facial trauma: mandibles, orbital floors, lid lacerations, and similar
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a large, busy trauma environment
