Job description

Position: Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Physician
Assignment: Locum Tenens
Location: North Dakota
Assignment Dates: September 13 – October 19, 2026
Coverage: September 13–21 and October 12–19
Schedule: Monday–Friday Clinic + Weekday Night Call | Weekend 24-Hour Call

We are seeking a Board-Certified or truly Board-Eligible ENT physician for a locum tenens opportunity providing general ENT coverage. The physician will see both adult and pediatric patients and provide clinic, hospital consult, and call coverage.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide general ENT coverage in an outpatient clinic and hospital setting.
  • See approximately 16 patients per day in clinic.
  • Evaluate and treat both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Provide hospital consultation coverage while in clinic.
  • Participate in scheduled surgical cases in the OR as needed.
  • Provide weekday overnight call via pager.
  • Provide 24-hour weekend call coverage.
  • Manage patient calls and hospital consultations while on call.
  • This assignment primarily involves general ENT and does not require management of significant facial trauma.
  • Work collaboratively with RN, LPN, registration, and audiology support staff.
  • Document patient care using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
  • MD/DO required.
  • Board Certified in Otolaryngology or truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency.
  • Non-boarded providers will not be considered.
  • Must be comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Active North Dakota license or eligible IMLC candidate required.
  • Licensure candidates must have an IMLC to be considered.
  • No pending malpractice cases.
  • Clean background required.
  • Prior locum/travel experience preferred.
Working Hours

Monday–Friday:

  • Clinic: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Overnight call via pager
  • Hospital consultation coverage while in clinic

Weekends:

  • 24-hour call coverage
  • Includes 4 hours of required in-person coverage

  • September 13–21, 2026
