Gastroenterologist - Locum Tenens

Overview:
Ourย client in Central Illinois is seeking a locum tenens gastroenterologist, to assist with the workload on an on-going basis.
What you will be doing:
Practice details/Schedule

  • Hospital Trauma Level I

  • Gastro Clinic

  • Procedures are performed at the hospital

  • M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00ย PM

  • No call

  • EMR: EPIC

Procedures:

  • General gastroenterology servicesย 

  • Colonoscopy

  • EGD

  • EUS and ERCP are nice to have, but not required


What you must have:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

  • Active Illinois license or active IMLC

  • Provide locum firm with vaccination records, negative drug screening, and complete physical within 90 days of start date.

  • Provide a professional headshot and complete online training modules (Carle-LMS), which takes approximately 2 hours (locum must complete within two weeks of orientation).


Other Information:
Compensation

  • $500/hour

  • Malpractice coverage provided

  • Airfare,ย if needed, reimbursedย  (or mileage if driving in)

  • Housing arranged and paid

  • Rental car if needed reimbursed ($80/day limit)
