Dayton, Ohio | Easy Access via Dayton Int’l Airport + 1 Hour to Columbus & Cincinnati

Palm Health Resources is actively recruiting a Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a high-acuity, hospital-based opportunity in Dayton, OH. This is an excellent assignment for providers seeking a predictable weekday schedule, no call, and strong pediatric case exposure in a well-supported environment.

Dayton offers easy travel access, affordable lodging, short commute times, and proximity to major metro areas—making it an ideal, low-friction locum destination.

Assignment Overview
  • Start: August 2026
  • Duration: ~3 months (through mid-November) with potential to extend
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00a–3:30p
  • Call: None
  • Setting: Hospital-based OR
  • Volume: ~50–60 cases/day across the department
Clinical Scope
  • Full-spectrum pediatric anesthesia (neonatal → adolescent, with some adult exposure)
  • Broad case mix includes:
    • General pediatric surgery
    • Complex orthopedics
    • Neurosurgery
    • Thoracic (non-cardiac)
  • Mix of:
    • Hands‑on cases
    • Supervising CRNAs in a care team model
  • Excludes cardiac and transplant cases

Ideal for anesthesiologists seeking high‑acuity pediatric cases with structured hours and no call burden

Practice Environment
  • Level I pediatric trauma setting
  • ~14 ORs with strong case volume

Requirements
  • Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology
  • Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS required
  • Comfortable with:
    • Neonatal + pediatric cases

    • Care team supervision
