Locum Advanced Heart Failure- APP - ( 2600027I )

Description

Tampa General Hospital is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology service. As a nationally recognized heart transplant center with a 24/7 APP-led model, we provide comprehensive care for high-acuity cardiac patients requiring advanced therapies.

Evaluate, admit, and manage patients with advanced heart failure and cardiogenic shock

Oversee chronic and acute inotrope therapy

Support pre‑and post‑operative heart transplant patients

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Experienced APP with Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant experience required or Cardiac ICU APP experience

Position Highlights

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year Cardiology experience

License/Registration

Acute Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant

Certification

Nationally Accredited Nurse Practitioner Board certification or Nationally Accredited Physician Assistant Board certification
