We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Enrolled Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in dealings with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), providing expert advice on tax issues, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Client Representation: Represent clients before the IRS in audits, collections, and appeals. Negotiate with the IRS on behalf of clients to resolve tax disputes.
  • Tax Planning and Advisory: Provide tax planning advice to clients to help them minimize their tax liabilities and maximize their financial potential.
  • Research and Analysis: Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations. Conduct research on complex tax issues and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain thorough and accurate client records, including tax returns, financial statements, and correspondence with tax authorities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Qualifications:
  • Current Enrolled Agent certification with the IRS.
  • 5 years of experience in tax preparation, planning, and representation.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant financial tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
