Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) with 4-5 years of experience to focus on tax issue resolution. In this role, you will assist clients with debt negotiations and collection actions, working to resolve tax disputes efficiently. This position does not involve tax return preparation but emphasizes resolving IRS issues and helping clients achieve favorable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • IRS Debt Resolution: Negotiate payment plans and penalty abatement's to resolve tax liabilities.
  • Collection Action Assistance: Address IRS levies, liens, and wage garnishments, working to release or reduce them.
  • Appeals Representation: Assist clients in appealing IRS decisions related to audits, penalties, and assessments.
  • Respond to IRS Notices: Review and respond to IRS letters on behalf of clients, ensuring timely compliance.
  • Client Consultation: Advise clients on resolving tax issues, explaining options and guiding decisions.
  • Ongoing Education: Stay updated on tax laws and IRS procedures to provide the best resolution strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
