Job description

Brady Corporation is seeking a skilled Machine Operator for our Engraving Solutions business, which includes our Brady and Gravotech brands. We are looking for a highly driven and skilled Machine Operator that will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of various machinery for the production of engravable plastic and metal items. The position requires electro-mechanical aptitude and ability to follow procedures to produce products that meet quality standards.
  • Responsible for day to day operation and maintenance of shears, bevelers, panel saws, and engraving and badge machines
  • Pick job materials and produce items that meet quality standards while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure product meets quality standards while also meeting production goals and minimizing waste
  • Identify pre-production defects or incorrect material specifications. Mark, segregate, and cut defective materials to eliminate Return Good Authorizations (RGAs) and focus claims.
  • Follow safety guidelines, machine instructions, and procedural steps
  • Recognize and report issues within the manufacturing process
  • Perform other duties as assigned
