Job Title: Professor of English
Job Summary:
The Professor of English will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in English literature, composition, and language. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in English or an equivalent Masters degree with a minimum of 18-credit hours of English. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a godly example and have a Biblical emphasis in their teaching.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and informative lectures on English literature, composition, and language
  • Create and grade assignments, exams, and projects
  • Provide feedback and support to students to help them improve their writing and critical thinking skills
  • Maintain office hours for student consultation and support
  • Participate in departmental meetings and committees
  • Stay current on developments in the field of English literature and language
