Job description

Graduate Nurse

Compensation: $38.00 - $47.00 per hour

Job Type: Full Time & Part Time

Graduate Nurse at Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton!

As a Graduate Nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Hourly rate ranges from $38 to $43 for LPNs and $42 to $47 for RNs, depending on the shift. Weekly pay!

About the Role:

Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, Graduate Nurses can begin providing care to residents while they wait to take their NCLEX. Our team will provide supervision and training to ensure you are comfortable with providing care. Your assigned tasks will not exceed your level of academic preparation or outside the scope of your competency level.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
  • Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care
  • Follow physician's orders and render treatments, dressings, and other physician orders
  • Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
  • Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness
  • Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs
  • Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary

Requirements:

  • Must have graduated from a Massachusetts board-approved nursing education program within one year of hire date
  • Proof of scheduled NCLEX licensure exam within 90 days of hire
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
