Job description

Job Summary:
Dewpoint is a company that fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration, seeking experienced Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) to join their team. This role focuses on modernizing and leading the test automation strategy, building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, and supporting manual testing efforts within Agile feature teams.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Help modernize and lead our test automation strategy.
โ€ข Focus on building and maintaining scalable, maintainable, and integrated test automation frameworks across UI and API layers using modern tools like Playwright and TypeScript.
โ€ข Contribute to CI/CD testing integration.
โ€ข Support manual testing efforts within Agile feature teamsโ€”guiding test case design, exploratory testing, and quality validation for areas not yet automated.
โ€ข Enable feature teams to take ownership of both automated and manual testing, ensuring faster, higher-quality releases.
Preferred:
โ€ข Hands on experience with Playwright (TypeScript preferred) or similar frameworks like Cypress
โ€ข Migration experience from selenium + Java or Postman to modern frameworks
โ€ข Familiarity with test reporting, dashboarding, and quality metrics in DevOps environment
โ€ข Experience with test case management tools (e.g., qTest, QMetry, TestRail) and requirements traceability
