Engineering Supervisor - Avista Resort
Days/2nd Shift, Full-Time
Job Description: The Engineering Supervisor must have knowledge andexperience in general maintenance duties. The applicant must be able tocomplete tasks independently as well as with others. The senior engineer willbe resolving issues pertaining to but not limited to; mechanical and electricalsystems, light plumbing, locks, appliance repairs, and wall coverings.Communicating with other departments to provide a safe environment for ourguests is a priority.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Control: Complete projects per CompanyStandards and Regulations
  • Property Maintenance : Landscaping, wallcoverings, light fixtures, electrical, and plumbing
  • Problem-Solving: Identifies and resolvesproblems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions
  • Verify and document the completion of allroutine maintenance and repairs
  • Perform variousmaintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall/ wallpaper,painting, building exteriors, and appliances
  • Collaborate with off-site Vendors, andHomeowners' department
  • Performsmaintenance and repairs with a minimum of guest disturbance
  • Replacement of light fixtures, fixing drywall/ wallpaper, painting
  • Repairing of broken or leaking plumbing to avoidwater damage and restore full use of water fixtures; other light plumbing workas needed
  • Working on damaged electrical wiring when ashortage or severed wire occurs, along with other light electrical work
  • Completesall work orders in a timely and detailed manner per company program standards
  • Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance

Requirements-
  • Be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have extensive knowledge of hotel/ resort maintenance
  • Must have previous experience (5 years preferred)
  • Certificates from college/technical school are a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Valid Driver's License
