Nous recherchons un stagiaire en genie electrique pour rejoindre notre equipe HVDC chez Hitachi Energie - Montreal. Vous ferez partie d'une equipe d'ingenieurs talentueux au sein du departement de conception des systemes, sous la responsabilite du directeur de l'ingenierie HVDC au Canada. Vous contribuerez a des etudes de performance des systemes a l'aide d'outils utilisants les concepts RMS (leff/Veff) et EMT (theorie electromagnetique). Responsabilites :
Appuyer l'equipe chargee de la performance des systemes et des modeles dans le cadre d'etudes RMS / EMT
Participer aux reunions de projet et presenter des aspects specifiques des missions d'ingenierie
Incarner les valeurs fondamentales d'Hitachi Energie que sont la securite et l'integrite, ce qui implique d'assumer la responsabilite de ses propres actions tout en veillant au bien-etre de ses collegues et de l'entreprise.
Votre profil :
Vous etes etudiant(e) ou jeune diplome(e) d'une maitrise ou d'un doctorat en genie electrique ou dans un domaine connexe
Vous etes passionne(e) par le genie electrique des systemes de puissance
Vous savez simplifier les choses complexes et faire preuve de creativite dans votre approche de la resolution de problemes. Vous etes pret a travailler dans un milieu de travail international et multiculturel.
Une experience prealable avec les equipements a haute tension et les schemas electriques constitue un atout.
Une experience des etudes RMS/EMT et de la modelisation sera grandement appreciee.
Capacite a communiquer en francais et en anglais.

We are looking for an intern in electrical engineering to join our HVDC team at Hitachi Energy - Montreal. You will be part of a team of talented engineers working for Systems Design department, reporting to the HVDC Engineering Manager in Canada. You will contribute with system performance studies using RMS and EMT tools. Responsibilities:

Support system performance and models team with RMS / EMT studies

Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments

Your background:

You are studying or is recent graduated on Masters or PhD on electrical engineering or correlated area

You are passionate for Electric Power Engineering

Previous experience with high voltage equipment and electrical drawings schematics is an asset.

Experience with RMS / EMT studies and models will be highly appreciated.

Able to communicate in French and English.
